Coordination vs Co-regulation

Here's the response I got from my consultant in case this helps anyone...

Coordination is doing the same thing at the same time. Co-regulation is monitoring and anticipating what the other person is doing and then reacting to it in an appropriate manner to keep the interaction going. In co-regulations there are multiple roles and the roles switch. In coordination the roles remain the same.
